Cafe Bar / Dinner
Come relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the sweeping view of the Mississippi river in our welcoming bar/lounge area. The only bar on campus, the Café Bar hosts a variety of seasonal and local beers, wines, and spirits plus a
of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrées.
We believe in supporting domestic micro-breweries with locally brewed Surly Furious almost always on tap. Other local breweries may include Brau Brothers, Lift Bridge, Lucid, Fulton, and Summit. Our unique collection of wine travels from several parts of the world and is rotated seasonally.
The Café Bar offers a full food and wine menu for a late lunch or dinner. Our menu features fresh locally grown produce, grass-fed meat and organic-fed poultry. Executive Chef Beth Jones and Manager Lindsay Bryda carefully select wines to complement the flavors from the menu.
During the Fall and Spring Semesters, the Café Bar opens at 2pm. Dinner reservations are not necessary, but are accepted and recommended for large parties. To make a reservation please call the bar: 612.624.9136. The Campus Club kitchen closes 15 minutes prior to Bar closing time.
If you would like to entertain a large group in The Bar, please contact the Events Office at 612-625-8494. You can reserve the 'cozy' end of the Bar. We call this Gather 'Round the Tap. For groups under 30 there is no room rental fee. The rental fee for larger groups is $75.
