Executive Director


Ann brings a wealth of experience to her job as Executive Director, a position she has held since 2002. Prior to the club's reopening, she worked as a consultant to the Campus Club and other organizations.

She has worked in the hospitality industry since 1994, as an entrepreneur, restaurant owner and operator, and consultant. Until recently, she raised chickens in her backyard.
Beth Beth Jones
Executive Chef

As Executive Chef, Beth is responsible for all menu planning and execution. She is recognized as a leader in commitment to locally sourced and organic food. Prior to the Campus Club, Beth was at Lucia's. She also worked at the renowned No Wake Cafe. As part of the club's centennial celebrations, Beth created a wonderful cookbook.
Jorge (2) Jorge Ortega
Sous Chef

Jorge serves as Sous Chef. He has passed the national exam for Certified Professional Food Manager. Jorge is from Ecuador, as are many of the club's kitchen staff. Hanger steak is his favorite item to prepare.

Demi Chef

Born in New York City and raised in Puerto Rico, Annette spent her formative years learning traditional cooking methods of the island with her grandmother and her friends. This passion of food has led her to work with talented chefs in Key West, Cape Cod, Boulder, Turks and Caicos Islands, Whales, England, and to culinary adventures through Spain and France.

For over ten years, Annette worked as the Chef de Cuisine at Lucia's Restaurant and Wine Bar, was the Chef at Sun Street Breads Dinners and is the Founder/Chef of the Red Hen Gastrolab Catering Concept.
Jen 2012 09 Jenn Hultman
Events and Marketing Manager


Jenn was promoted to her current position heading up the club's events and marketing after six years of service as our Events Coordinator. Contact her directly for questions about weddings and anything else related to events at the Campus Club!

Prior to joining the Campus Club staff, Jenn worked at the Minneapolis Convention Center. She has studied in England and Ghana.

Jane S. Kerr
Events and Communications Manager


Formerly in sales at the Campus Club, Jane is now part of the Events team and is happy to help you book space and plan your event at the Campus Club. Whether it be a small departmental gathering or a wedding for 200, she is happy to answer your questions, give you a tour, and help make your event a success.

Prior to working at the Campus Club, Jane was a technical writer who worked with a variety of clients in the health services, financial, and other industries. Lunches are better for Jane these days!

Events Coordinator


Laurel started as an intern and has moved up to be the Events Coordinator. She is filling in for Jenn while she is on maternity leave. After graduation, she will be heading over to Italy for one of her marketing classes. Traveling is one of her passions; she spent a semester studying in Dublin, Ireland. As a marketing major and international business minor, she hopes to one day work for a company in their international marketing department. Do you have an event you would like to plan? Becky Becky Maki
Accountant and HR Manager


Becky comes to the club from a position at an assisted living/memory care center in Hibbing. She lends her experienced accounting skills in a volunteer capacity to Boyageurs National Park Association. She also volunteers with Eat for Equity and Feed My Starving Children. She earned her accounting BA at Metropolitan State University.

Nick Caliandro
Assistant Manager


Nick comes to the Campus Club with many years in the service industry. Originally from New York, he has spent the majority of his life in St. Paul. When not busy with work or his secret passion of cooking, Nick enjoys getting away from the cities and going on trail in the BWCA. An alum of the University himself he is excited to return to campus, this time looking on from a different view.

Originally from St. Peter, Brent and his wife have been in the Twin Cities since August 2013. Prior to joining the Campus Club staff, Brent was the General Manager at Sweet Pea's Public House in Saint Paul.

In his spare time, Brent enjoys playing drums in a southern Minnesota rock band.

Joe Burmeister
Bar Manager


Joe recently graduated from Metro State with a degree in Marketing. He put that degree to good use this summer with a Marketing and Advertising Internship here at the Campus Club that resulted in a five-fold increase in new members over the summer. Joe has extensive knowledge of craft beer, mixology, and wine and food pairings. If you need advice on this subject, just ask him!

Originally from Milwaukee, Joe enjoys travelling, playing soccer and collecting records.
