Gather Round

Depertment and indiviudal members can reserve the east end of the Bar for your next social or work-related events. Groups from 5 (very cozy) to 50 (very social) can be accommodated.

There are no room rental fees for groups under 30. For groups over 30, there will be a room charge of $75. Your reservation allows for flexible food and beverage options.

Food Options

You can order in advance from the Catering Menu or order when you arrive from the Bar Menu. Members can host food ordered by guests or have them pay for their selections.

Beverage Options

You can provide an Open Bar for your guests with a limit on drink prices and quantity. Alternatively you can invite your guests to order whatever beverages they would like to pay for.

Celebrity Bartenders

Interested in Celebrity Bartending your own event? Celebrity Bartenders have the opportunity to work with Café Bar staff to pour customized drinks for their guests.

Celebrity Bartender Duties

    - Stand around and look good.

    - Entertain guests with witty banter.

    - If possible, invite colleagues to the Café Bar.

    - When appropriate and possible, act celebrity-like.

A Brief History

In past times ... since the Campus Club re-opened in early 2003, this tradition was founded by Chris Maziar, Provost of the University, who was a reliable and entertaining Celebrity Bartender on many Fridays. Now, you too can become the next Celebrity Bartender at the Campus Club Cafe Bar!
